Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons, as a tight-end in the National Football League. Considered one of America's best tight ends of all time He is the holder of an NFL record for the most receiving yards for any tight end. He is third all-time in the number of receiving yards.
Former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. From the beginning of 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez has been an integral part on FOX NFL KICKOFF, FOX's hour long NFL pregame show that airs prior to FOX NFL SUNDAY, airing each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez has resigned from the Falcons on March 15 2013 for a contract worth $14 million over two years. He did this in spite of his claims that he would retire after the season. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the league's top player of active receiving yards for the last time during his playing career.
